Have you read the fishing classic: Ode to a Mayfly ?
If that book were ever to have actually been penned, then surely, the author's inspiration for writing it was spawned from a day spent casting his 4 weight during the peak of the hatch as it occurred on "The Run" . . .
Big Moores Run!
The Green Drake hatch, though largely over, was the thickest in recent memory. Sulphurs are now polluting the sky in great clouds. Big stones and a few March Browns continue to linger. Dark Caddis still, are flitting about. Light Cahills should be emerging in the next day or so. When surface action slows, nymph & wets continue to produce well. But the days we've been anxiously awaiting have arrived, the leviathans are slurping bugs from the meniscus line. Call today for availability.
