WHAT TO EXPECT

                        28th  February

Mild temperatures these past two days coupled with light rain gave us the much anticipated ice break-up.  The stream is open & running at good volume.  Most importantly, the fish wintered well & are holding in familiar lairs.

Nymphing on slow drifts is the ticket right now.  The same holds true for streamers; they too are producing good results.

Exercise care while traversing the banks of the water course & be cognizant of the remaining ice & snow.

Now is a great time to call & book your dates for Big Moores Run!

Entering March, we're still fans of eggs, hares ears, pheasants, princes, muddlers, woolly buggers, matukas in olive or black, as well as San Juan worms & copper Johns.
